Burning Trade Waste

Recently, several residents have contacted the Parish Council to express concern about repeated bonfires/burning of trade waste (including animal bedding).

The Council is sympathetic to those concerned, and have offered advice as appropriate.

If you are affected by this, we would urge you to contact the Environmental health department at Erewash Borough Council at the time of the bonfire or as soon after as possible.

Staff there will ask questions about the location, times, frequency etc., and decide whether a visit by their Pollution Officers would be appropriate.

Contact them direct on:  0845 9072244 extension 3820
